During winter, in Alaska, there is not a whole lot you can do with an 11 month old baby (big girl) without catching pneumonia. So, we choose to do ALOT of indoor activities. Not to mention I am a sissy when it comes to cold weather. One of our many activities is going to the Eagle River Public Library. Allison really loves to read and Madison loves to be read to which, I might add is also enjoyable for me. So, thanks to their Aunt Shelby who came across a great web site called Shelfari, we are able to share the books we have recently read with all of you! At the very bottom of our blog you will find a bookshelf with Allison and Madison's latest and greatest adventures in reading! Thank you Aunt Shelby!

Oh my goodness!! "Where the Sidewalk Ends" is an ALL time favorite of mine when I was younger. Ask Allison if she's read "The Giving Tree" also by Shel Silverstien?? It is a fabulous one! I've been trying to find it for Jess. Need to look at the library.
